"The thing that is really hard, and really amazing, is giving up on being perfect and beginning the work of becoming yourself."~Anna Quindlen
Where to start:
Once you have looked over the website and you would like to schedule an appointment, call me at 706-5950. Either I will answer or you can leave a voicemail and I'll return your call usually same-day and if not, within 24 hours, M-F. I will ask you to give me general information about what you would like to come in for (usually about 5-10 minutes). We will schedule an appointment time. I will ask you to download and fill out the first three forms from "Helpful Forms" on the Home Page (if you are unable to download and print the forms, I have some at the office). I will text you directions into my office building.
I have done my own personal work. I understand how hard it can be to take the first step and call for a therapy appointment. I provide a judgement-free space for all clients, and clients tell me they feel safe and like they're talking with a trusted friend. For me, my personal work in therapy was a game-changer. I wouldn't trade what I learned in therapy for the world! You don't have to remain alone in your pain or in feeling lost or stuck. Every person has gifts to share with the world, and sometimes things like depression, low self-esteem, anxiety, etc., can cause us to hide our gifts. That is not truly living. I want to help you to know who you are, what your gifts are, and begin living a life of passion and joy!
I provide office therapy, and also skype and/or phone therapy for people whose lives and schedules would benefit from in-home therapy. Call for a free phone consultation to see if we would be a good fit, and if we're not, I'll help you find a therapist that is.
